Wilderness House (WH) is in the beginning stages of branding their identity as a sports outfitter – specializing in ski/snowboard, skateboard, bike, and kayak. Below are the primary arrangements that will be used over different mediums. What I feel works well about this design is the subtle combination of the ‘W’ and ‘h’ that are unified to create a cohesive logo. WH has just recently bought out an existing company consisting of several retail stores, a hotel, and they’re still going. Of course they would love to appeal to a large demographic however; there focus is on active 20-somethings. Next steps with WH are business cards, campaign concepts as they begin their college tour, retail store designs and layouts, as well as eventually site design and development.
